What do we do?

At Wizard Education we are involved in a variety of different projects, training programmes and activities.

Our primary work is to provide ongoing, work related training and experience for 14-16yrs olds not currently attending mainstream schooling. We do this through a programme called Project Zero which works alongside our community projects including the Swindon Soap Box Derby and our intergenerational project, Swindon Silver Surfers.

In addition to this we run short engagement programmes for 14-16yr olds and adult community courses, offer private tuition and, as a UK Online centre, we currently run workshops for anyone who wants to get online for the first time.

From Autumn 2012 we aim to become an independent school offering a full-time curriculum through personalized, individual programmes initally for 14-16yr olds but ultimately for 14-18yr olds. We also hope to offer a range of 16+ full time programmes and part-time workshops.
