Following his early retirement, and having spent many years working in the UK and abroad in a highly specialised area of industry building, and training others to build, Radiation Beams, Brian helps out at Wizard as a volunteer, sharing his work experience and workshop skills with students and fellow volunteers alike. Brian served his apprenticeship as a Machine Tool Fitter before specialising in the radiation environment and is well travelled having worked in Saudi Arabia (he got run over in Dubai!) and the beautiful Czech Republic. To relax, he has recently purchased a telescope and tripod and hopes to spend his leisure time 'stargazing'!
